Pablo's Dream
Support Pablo Dominguez´s Family
Pablo Domínguez, was a talented young flamenco guitarist from Cádiz who spent many years performing in London before being taken by cancer a few months ago. He played and performed with Ilusion Flamenca for many years. He was a true friend and he is dearly missed.
Pablo has left behind a young family and a big void in the flamenco world. Please read his story and contribute generously to this cause.
Pablo’s Dream
This fundraiser is for the family of Pablo Domínguez — his wife Noelia and their two wonderful 7-year-old children. Our beloved Pablo passed away leaving behind not only a deep emotional void but also a financial one for his family.
Pablo had a dream: to build a home for his family, where his children could live and grow. But cancer turned his dream into a nightmare, taking Pablo from their arms far too soon.
Now, all construction costs fall to his wife, who is fully dedicated to caring for their children — one of whom has special needs. Getting a mortgage on a single income is extremely difficult, if not impossible.
His wife Noelia and their two children — need our help to carry on the dream of the father and husband.
To those who didn’t know Pablo, let us tell you: he was a soul full of kindness, love, and a very special kind of magic. His dreams were never about personal gain. His ego lived in harmonious balance, and Pablo always acted for the good of others — his family, his community.
Pablo´s first sketches of his future house began in London, when the twins were still in Noelia’s belly. A home tailored to his family’s needs — the most important thing to him. The house wasn’t even built yet, and he was already inviting you to stay. That’s how big and generous his heart was.
After moving with his family to his beloved Cádiz — to El Puerto de Santa María — his dream began to take shape on the land his parents had given After years of visualisation, he brought his dream into reality.
A dream now broken by a silent disease — one that doesn’t hurt, doesn’t show itself, but when it arrives, it takes everything in its path.
Well, not everything. Love always remains, even when death and pain come to visit. Love transcends time and space, turning sorrow back into dreams. And it’s out of love for Pablo, for his wife and children, that — wherever you are — we ask you to help them rebuild and realise their dreams. Pablo’s dream. Whether by donating, sharing this page, praying, or playing music — believe me, one act of love can change everything.
As Pablo once said:
Short sorrows, long celebrations.
Amen.
