A charity concert

A charity  concert organised by Peña Flamenca de Londres for Pablo, our beautiful guitarist friend, who for so many years played with Ilusion Flamenca.

Pablo Domínguez, was  a talented young flamenco guitarist from Cádiz who spent many years performing in London before being taken by cancer a few months ago.

The show will feature many of his flamenco friends – with net proceeds going to charities nominated by Pablo’s family. We will list the flamenco performers nearer the date – but without doubt it will be a star-studded list!

Pablo learned flamenco from his famous father, the flamenco pianist Chano Domínguez but he made his own path in the music world playing with musicians from all over the world, including from Africa, Turkey and Latin America. He performed with many major flamenco artists, including Niño Josele, Josemi Carmona and Agustín Carbonell and he worked regularly in London with the flamenco singer Leo Power.

Pablo Domínguez was a versatile musician, always helping and supporting other flamenco artists with his great rhythm and his warm smile and endless encouragement. He performed several times at Peña Flamenca de Londres and at many other London flamenco venues. The flamenco world will miss him greatly.
