Always wanted to learn flamenco? Try it out before committing to a full course!

Join us for a one-off beginners class  accompanied by live music! This class is taught by Angela Alonso, founder of Ilusion Flamenca. Angela has over 20 years of experience in teaching. 

No previous experience or specific dance attire are required. All ages welcome!

Hire shoes and skirts for this session for £5, please reserve it in advance.

We have some second hand shoes and skirts for hire on a first come first serve basis, subject to availability. Please contact us in advance to reserve them letting us know your shoe and skirt size. Please note: Students wishing to attend regular weekly lessons  after the taster  are welcome to join the weekly beginner course  in Covent Garden starting the following week, same day, same time, same place. If you can’t make it or miss this taster you are welcome to try one of the regular beginner course lesson before committing to the full course. What to wear for your first lesson?

Ladies for your first class a pair of court shoes or any pair of comfortable thick-heeled shoes will work well, expect a lot of stomping. You may also bring a flared maxi skirt if you wish. Gentlemen, please avoid trainers. 

We have second hand shoes and skirts for hire for the lesson (£5 both items) which we donate to charity. Please contact us in advance to reserve them letting us know your shoe and skirt size. Check our charity work here

We have good quality semi-professional handmade flamenco shoes and beginner skirts for sale. If you decide to join our weekly classes we can bring them in for you to try on, just ask your teacher in advance. Please check with your teacher what type of shoes and skirts are required before buying.
